  • Why do I need to register?

    That is necessary to get you covered at the right place in the database so that we can trace who has signed up under your tree and how that tree develops over time.

  • When I click my affiliate link, I don’t see the link in the browser, instead I got redirected to the start page!

    This is intended. Your affiliate link works in the background. Your affiliate ID has been assigned automatically and you will see the new user in you affiliate summary on the profile page.

  • How or where do I find my affiliate or partner link?

    You will find that link in your account in your profile summary. You can copy & paste that link into your personal invitation mails. You may want to use a service like http://bit.ly to create a short or alias version of it. If you use the integrated invitation tool, no action is required as you link will be embedded automatically.

  • How does the starting page (landing page) work?

    Each user who opens the page by clicking on your affiliate or partner link (that is essentially the same, some folks like partner link better) will see your personal page first. If you do not have created a personal page or your account has not been made active yet, the user gets redirected to the main page of the portal. Don’t worry, if he registers then, he will be automatically placed in your friends network structure.

  • I have acquired someone, but I don’t see him in my affiliate overview!

    If that happens, your friend has most likely not made active his account or has a typo in his data, so that he could not receive the activation link. Sometimes, people don’t use the affiliate link that you sent to them. This has no benefit for them! Note: We do not research the origin of each new member and cannot change the structure afterwards.

  • I did not receive an email with the activation link or the link is not clickable!

    If that happens, please check your SPAM folder. If you still have not gotten the email, contact support@coaloo.com and your issue will be resolved. If you do not allow your email program to receive emails in HTML format, you cannot click on the link. Instead, copy and paste it into browser.

  • I can't login.

    You may have used a wrong username/password combination. If you have forgotten either one, just follow the lin “forgot password” or “forgot username”. Note: You need to activate the account first using the activation link that has been send to you, before you can login.

  • I forgot my username or password - still cannot login!

    In that case, just request your username or password by following the link in the login area.

  • After entering my date of birth, I cannot enter additional data!

    You have to click the "Gen Key" link right next to the Affiliate Key field. By doing that, your personal key and page will be generated. Afterwards, you can proceed with entering additional data.

  • Why do I see the site in German and not in English or vice versa?

    Most likely you Browser setting allow that. You can easily switch between the languages we provide so far. Sure enough, we will add more languages soon.

  • What is so different at Coaloo?

    One pillar of our business model is that Coaloo adds value to our members since they get an incentive for referring friends who eventually sign up with us. We are offering free access to the network as well as paid services. Members can decide to pay small annual subscription fee and therefore get the chance to participate in our referral bonus program. A big chunk of the subscription fee goes back to the members who refer people. That gives every paying member the opportunity to get some money back for doing what you they do anyway - networking. Moreover, they participate even when their referred friends find friends on their own. The second pillar that sets us apart is that we allow our members to use the network for establishing their own internet business. We will support members who have innovative ideas in terms of internet applications, services and green technologies. We will help those members to get those ideas started. However, the third and most important pillar of our business model is to create a true social network where its members create meaningful communities, share ideas to make the world a better place and live up to it. As we see the need to help others, Coaloo is committed to give a substantial amount of our earnings to charity projects locally and worldwide. Each member of coaloo who earns money commits himself to do the same by giving 10% of the earnings to charity as well. That will establish a powerful, meaningful and socially engaged community! And this comes totally adds-free and with privacy protection.

  • Can I remain a member in my other networks?

    Yes, of course. Over time, we will have the most important networks integrated in our site and whatever you do in coaloo can be seen (if you want) in other networks and vice versa.

  • Why do I need to pay although the rest of the internet is for free?

    As as matter of fact, the internet is not for free. You need to have access to it and for that alone you pay as much as 20-50 bucks per month. Many sites and platforms are not for free, especially when they offer special knowledge or content. The free sites must make money as well and they do this by either selling your profile data to third parties or they get funded through advertisements. Both ways are painful for the users as you're getting more and more ads to go through before you even see the content. At Coaloo we do not believe in this business model. In other words, Coaloo is exclusive, we never would sell your data to third parties and we don’t bother you with ads at all. Nor would we ever trace your network usage behavior and sell this information to target advertising companies. (George Orwell would turn over in his grave, if he would know what the world already has become. Especially, if he would now that people allow companies to collect this information for free and most of the time without knowing it) On a side note, it won’t take long until the other networks will find subtle ways to make you pay for their service, because they all need to make money. They may eventually will charge you with a monthly or yearly subscription fee, but cannot pay you back for what you already did for them.

  • Can I sign up for free?

    Yes, that is possible, but if you sign up for free, you would not be eligible to receive a commission even you refer a friend who signs up and pays.

  • Can I influence the commission level?

    Yes, that is possible as we offer several membership levels. Each membership level reflects a commission percentage. For example, if you think you only know a few people and don’t want to search for more, you can either decide to join for free or as little as $27 per year. The commission level for that bronze package gets you in the 20% commission bracket. That means you will receive 20% of the commissionable money that comes in through your referrals. If you think that you have many contacts or you feel that you can find many referrals, you can sign up for the diamond package at $97 per year which gets you in the 60% bracket. There are other package in between.

  • Can I upgrade to another package later on?

    Yes, but only when the next annual fee is due.

  • Is that like a snowball system or pyramid scheme?

    No, there are tough regulations on those systems as they are build on the fact that a product or even just a money amount is distributed from top down but needs to gain in price or money amount and participants in oder to sustain. Those system usually collapse soon as they need exponential growth to survive. At coaloo, neither of this happens. We established referral bonus program that pays only the money that is truly collected through the subscription fee. Up to 50% of all our earnings are automatically reserved for this. We cannot payout more than we collect. No system can do that. We don't make promises on potential earnings as it only depends on your personal activity. Nor does the system collapse, even if no one signs up any longer as the product you pay for is the access to network that will still be up then. We understand potential concerns and are more than happy to answer questions about that matter at info@coaloo.com.

  • Do only the very first members make money and others not?

    No, the potential earnings depend only on your activity level and that is independent from the date you join. If you do nothing, you won’t earn, even if you are one of the first members. If you are the 10millionth member and find many friends who join, you would earn the same amount as if you would have started as the 10th member. The membership fee and the commission always stays the same, no matter when you join. The theoretical end of that would be when all people on this planet, who are over 18 and have a valid email address, are connected through Coaloo…..Think about it, FB has over 400m users from approx.. 1.2b internet users.

  • How much money can I earn?

    That depends on how many friends and people you can excite to join us. Generally, the more you start with the better. It is next to impossible to predict how your friends and their friends perform. The main attention though is to create a “better and sustainable network”. You should not invite people that you don't know or that you are not related with in any kind.

  • Do I make money quickly?

    It is possible, but not necessarily true for everyone. The less you expect the better the surprise.

  • Can I make or find contacts beyond my own contacts base?

    Yes, we are going to support you with the right letters and mails that you can use to address different user groups that you can relate to or already have a relationship with. We want to give you some hints where to look at. We not only want to actively support people but also organizations, clubs and associations and you might be already a member in one of those.

  • How can I pay the subscription fee?

    We will be using the easiest but safest online payment service providers for your transaction. We do not get or even keep any of your sensitive payment data. This will remain safe at the payment provider.

  • How do I know what I have earned?

    By paying the membership fee you create an account with the payment provider. Once per month we provide the payment processor with your earning details and they are going to wire the money into your account there. You will receive frequent account statements and can withdraw the money from that account into your banking account or use it to make other payments.

  • Do I need to pay taxes?

    Yes. That is something you cannot avoid and we need to keep the earning details up to date for the IRS. We might even need to get you a W-9 or 1099 form signed before we can pay out your first commission. This is for your own safety. And, we all want to be honest, right?"
